Sitting Meditation
The following posts will go into depths on the practice and techniques of sitting meditation. Breaths as main object:
Attention is focused on the breath. The mind is concentrated at the tip of the nose. While breathing in, it is to be mindful of the in-breath for the whole duration. While breathing out, it is to be mindful of the out-breath for the whole duration. The meditator is to be mindful of the sensation of the air at the tip of the nose.
Concentration is to be on the nature of breath, the moving nature or the supporting nature of breath as well.
